Post-War

Post-War represents a period during which works of art were produced between 1920 and 1944. Post-War art movements in Western art belong to the broader group of the Modernist movement, which self-consciously rejected the past as a model for the art of the present. Post-War is a segment of the art market which is more volatile than Old Masters and 19th Century, but which is considered as still less volatile than Contemporary Art—especially the post-1985 period of the latter.

Post-War is a period during which artists created works of art which now have a long track record of price and have passed the test of time. We aim to invest in the top 10% of the Post-War market, primarily in high quality, blue-chip art works which have stood the test of time and which are valued at between $100,000 and $5 million.
